By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you're agreeing to handle things the grown-up way if something goes sideways. If a dispute pops up and we can't work it out informally, you're agreeing to settle things through binding arbitration or small claims court only. You agree to not file for jury trials and/or class action lawsuits.

Before going the legal route, though, we both agree to try non-binding mediation first. We’ll choose a mediator together and split the cost unless we agree otherwise.

Oh—and just to be clear: filing a chargeback just because you don’t like the policy after agreeing to it isn’t cool. That’s fraud, and we take that seriously. We'll deal with that through all available legal channels—civil and criminal.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, any claim you make against Shay La Vie will be limited to direct and actual damages only. That means no special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages—no matter what the legal theory is.

We’re not responsible for losses that go beyond what you actually paid for the product or service in question. In short: we’ll always aim to make things right, but we’re only on the hook for what’s fair and real.

If you use our YouTube channel (youtube.com/@shaylavie), join our memberships on shaylavie.com, or buy our merchandise, you agree to cover any costs, damages, or legal issues that come up because of:

-Things you do on our channel, like posting comments or sharing content.

-How you use our membership content, like exclusive videos or live Q&As.

-Problems with merchandise you buy, like making false claims about it.

-Breaking these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or any laws.

-Sharing content through our services that’s illegal or harms someone else’s rights.

If there’s a legal issue, Shay La Vie can take charge of handling it, and you’ll help us out as needed.

All content shared by Shay La Vie—including our name, logos, designs, photos, videos, product names, and written material—is either owned by us or used with proper permission. We put a lot of heart into what we create, and we take intellectual property rights seriously—ours and yours.
